When Number Typography Meets Insects

When Number Typography Meets Insects

For the sixth edition of the 36 Days of Type in 2019, Barcelona-based graphic designer, movement artist and art designer Alex Palazzi draws inspiration from an unexpected source: insects. Entitled Insects vs. Numbers, Palazzi uses his talents as an artist to create beautiful visuals on the theme of insects.

It recreates the number 5 that looks like a skin peppered with mosquitoes, a ghostly number 3 shaped by cobwebs or a honeycomb number 6 teeming with bees. Some images may not be unpleasant, but – insect fan or not – you can not deny that the results are fantastic.
