The Polish artist and photographer Anna Tokarska became famous by creating incredible and very pleasant realistic portraits, mainly composed of fruits and vegetables.
The obvious inspiration behind her work are the paintings of the 16th-century Italian Mannerist Giuseppe Arcimboldo, famous for her incredibly imaginative portraits made of fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish and books.
Anna dedicated a month of her work to this intriguing set of eight photographs. “Each one was built vertically with great care, measuring 50 to 80 cm, and then photographed, wrote Anna.” You can follow her work on her official Facebook page where you can learn more about her life, her passion and his studio.
