British artist Alex Chinneck had already surprised the critics with a slanted brick house project in Margate. Today, he returns to surprise the public with an even more crazy installation: a building that undresses, located in Ashford. With Open to the Public he transforms a disused building into places of art and discovery by creating an installation that gives the impression that the house opens with a zipper.
“I design fun art pieces so that everyone can live and enjoy them. I want to make everyday life extraordinary. Says the artist, sensitive to urban planning and cultural sharing in a community.
