A continuation of the popular series entitled The Quest for the Absolute by French photographer Benoit Lapray that portrays superheroes as lonely beings who wander deserted landscapes. Lapray attempts to answer the question “what do our comic book heroes do when they are not face to face with the enemy or trying to save the life of a person in distress?” He sees the famous vigilantes on a quest to find themselves and drawing strength by momentarily withdrawing from civilization and communing with nature.
